38mm Elastic (for elasticated waistband only): 77cm  

6mm clear elastic (optional): 25cm

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Medium-weight, 4-way stretch knit fabric with a minimum of 70% horizontal and 50% vertical stretch. 100% stretch in both directions is best! Suitable fabrics include cotton/Lycra jersey and many athletic jerseys. This pattern has a lot of negative ease (this means it’s smaller than you are), which creates the traditional, tight leggings fit. Because of this, it’s essential your fabric has the correct stretch.
